Welcome to Patrick’s Revamped Site
We’re heading into the Olympics and what better timing to clean up Patrick’s site than the week before the big “O”? We’ve added a video player so you can now see all the videos that we do with Patrick right at his website (among other places as well). Leave a comment if you have any ideas or features that you would like to see on his site! Or just send some cheer this way. Whatever works!
I haven’t had the chance to see or talk to Patrick a lot lately but that should change next week when I’m in Vancouver! Hopefully I’ll have some video footage during Patrick’s downtime and I’ll definitely be tweeting (@ivory717) and blogging throughout the week with updates. Don’t forget to follow Patrick’s twitter too (@PChiddy) as he will definitely be updating all his fans as well!
Hope you guys like the new site and keep visiting for all your news on Patrick Chan!

Dear Patrick,
Thank you for all the personal sacifices you’ve made, the countless hours of practice, enduring and overcoming injuries, the determination and dedication it’s taken to reach this point in your life.
Any medal you may win is your own personal reward.
Whether you win or not, your a role model for our youth and a diplomat for this great country. How can I not be proud of you.
Before you skate onto the ice I want you to remember that millions of others and I will be right beside you in spirit feeding your strength and cheering you on.
Most Sincerely,
Mr.Dave Knights,

AWESOME RUN PATRICK! YOU DID ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES, IT’S ALRIGHT. WE STILL BELIEVE IN YOU. FOR YOUR FIRST OLYMPICS, YOU WERE EXPECTIONAL, I DON’T KNOW HOW ELSE TO DESCRIBE IT. YOUR FOOTWORK IS ALSO EXCEPTIONAL, BEST SKATE TODAY IMO. CANADA IS SO BLESSED TO HAVE YOU COMPETE FOR THEM. DON’T EVER NEVER GIVE UP AND DO WELL AT THE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TORINO IN MARCH!!!I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT. AND AFTER 4 YEARS HAVE QUICKLY PASSED BY, THE GOLD IN SOCHI WILL BE YOURS, I KNOW IT!!

Hey Patrick Chan,
My name is Tram Nguyen and I’m a huge fan as well

I actually met one of your former skating teachers, Don Jackson, through an interview and called him today after your olympic performance yesterday.
You were really amazing despite what anybody says and Don agreed with me.
Haha funny thing is, I was born in Ottawa too and still live here. I used to take classes at the Minto Skating club when I was like 7.
Hope all is well in Vancouver and if you’re ever in Ottawa, I’d like to meet you!
Enjoy watching the other Olympic events! You’re done! Time to take it easy haha!
Vancouver has one of the best sushi restaurants as well as Thai restaurants too! haha

You have inspired many (including myself) with your positive attitude towards figure skating! After seeing your performance, I want to take skating lessons myself. I hope you have more signing sessions here in Vancouver.
After the Olympics, come visit Vancouver more often! We are more than glad to welcome such inspiring athlete!
