I hope this note finds you well and enjoying your Olympic experience.
I’m not one to blog as such, so I hope this won’t get posted.
I was hoping to see your Olympic programs on Youtube, but no such luck.
There’s always so much controversy surrounding the Olympics. It’s always on such a huge scale. It can be intimidating so say the least. Tempers flare, people vent scathing opinions; dreams get fulfilled and dreams get put on hold. (I’ve watched and read some postings based on the f/b’s etc. It’s crazy!)
You’ve got to remember, that very few people acheive Olympic status, yet alone medal. It’s probably one of the most difficult things to do on this earth. You are with and amongst the most talented of the most talented. And it gets more and more difficult every time. (I remember Gaetan Boucher saying he only had seven pairings when he skated, now there’s over twenty-two). The same with figure skating.
I, for one am proud of your accomplishments. But,I’m sure you’ve heard that before. You are a tremendous asset and skating ambassador for Canada. Keep your faith in yourself and believe. Hold your head up high and know that you are one of the best of the best. One day soon, you WILL be the best. Keep training. Keep trying. Keep a positive perspective.

Aiganym, that’s his girlfriend, oh noes! Lol jk.. It’s aivory, the blog and site manager for Patrick. She made the site and maintains it and stuff. Really pretty (the site, and Aivory too )!
Our family has been watching and following you on Olympics. You’ve done a tremendous job and gave it your best. You’re one of the very few people amongst many Canadians who were chosen to represent us. It takes many years of hard work and courage to stand out on that ice rink and perform for the world. You made us proud to be a Canadian. You’ve also inspired my boys, age 8 & 9 to start skating. How I wish that one day they would be like you. We’re heading out to the skating rink and start practicing tonight.

I saw photos of you eating chocolate from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!!
=] You got to try New York Cheesecake Candy Apple!! It is REALLI REALLI gooodddd!! I ate mine at Harrison Hot Springs and their apples were sweet so it was realli goooddd!! Candy Apple taste better when the apple is sweet and not sour. yupyup!!
If you got time, you got to go to Aberdeen in Richmond and try the Shaved Icee and Bear Papa puffs!! =]
Shaved Ice- REalli goodd!! I usually eat Strawberry Romance. It has strawberry shaved ice and strawberry ice cream on the top and strawberries! =] They have others that are good tooo!! It is on the second left store after you arrive from the escalator. There is a penguin on the store name I believe.
Bear Papa- Dunno if Toronto has it or not but it’s reallii deliciouss!! It used to be realli realli googy and squishy with vanilla cream inside. But now, they made it smaller but it is still good though! =] but in a smaller version! =] There are many other good things in Vancouver! =] Realli good Chinese restaurants in Richmond!! Better food in Vancouver than Edmonton and other citiess! =] well in my opinion…. Havn’t went to Toronto soo i dunno if their food is good or not.. but Vancouver is the best city for food comparing to the other cities in Canada I have visited.

Our whole family was watching and cheering for you during the Olympics.You truly are an an inspiration!!! We have 2 children who are figure skaters and you have inspired our daughter age 9 that with, heart, hardwork, and dedication to the sport she too could make it to the Olympics one day! She just won her first Gold Medal.
You skated as a guest skater in 2001 in Bancroft,Ontario at our Annual Carnival we have it on Video, and I have to ask, could you please come again and/or visit us?
Our Carnival is Saturday March,27th,2010.
